Privacy Policy

ChainLink by AJ (“ChainLink”, “we”) is a Shopify app operated by 6564453 Canada Inc. (operating as ChainLink by AJ), Montreal, Quebec, Canada. This policy explains what information the app collects when a merchant installs it, and how that information is used.
Information we collect
- Store information: your store’s myshopify domain, currency, and the access token Shopify issues so the app can work on your store.
- Product information: the products you choose to price with ChainLink, their options, variants, prices and costs.
- Your settings: karat, colours, widths, weights, labour per gram, margin, and which lengths you mark as in stock.
- Staff information: the name and email of the staff member who installs or uses the app, as provided by Shopify, used only to provide support.
ChainLink does not access, collect or store your customers’ personal information or orders.
How we use it
Only to provide the app: calculate prices from the gold, silver and platinum markets, create and update variants on the products you select, and bill your subscription through Shopify. We do not sell or rent any information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Service providers
We use a hosting provider to run the app and its database, and a precious-metals price provider. Price requests contain only a metal and currency code, never store data.
Retention and deletion
If you uninstall ChainLink, your access token is deleted immediately. All other store data is deleted when Shopify sends its store deletion request (48 hours after uninstall). Prices and variants already written to your products stay in your Shopify store.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your information at any time by writing to support@chainlinkbyaj.com. Residents of Quebec, Canada, the EU and other regions have the rights given by their local laws, including Quebec’s Law 25 and the GDPR.
Security
Data is sent over encrypted connections and stored with a hosting provider that encrypts data at rest. Access is limited to the people who run the app.
